Exclusive for “DIE ZEIT” we manufacture now a Terrasport IV BRONZE with a blue dial, limited to 100 pieces. And how could it be otherwise at Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte: the middle part of the case, the crown and bezel of the new Mühle pilots watch are made of aluminum bronze. This material is also used in shipbuilding for the manufacture of propellers and is just as resistant to fresh water as it is to salt water. In addition, the bronze forms a characteristic patina over time, which protects the underlying material from environmental influences.
The bronze-typical patina develops individually depending on the wearer’s habits – and makes every Terrasport IV BRONZE a unique timepiece. While the middle part of the case, the crown and bezel are made of bronze, the case back is made of easy-to-wear stainless steel and is equipped with a case back with sapphire crysal.
