The Teutonia II Edition “Midnight” represents a successful Saxon cooperation. It was developed in cooperation with the DDV Media Group. The media company is, among other things, the publisher of the Sächsische Zeitung and the Morgenpost Sachsen. The special edition is limited to a total of 175 pieces. We are producing 150 of the 41 mm Teutonia II Small Second, and only 25 of the Teutonia II Medium.
Off-center – but not off-balance: the arrangement of the off-center seconds display at 6 o’clock and the Mühle lettering at 12 o’clock give the dial of the Teutonia II Small Second a particularly harmonious face. Its applied indices are placed on the dial by hand. Together with the elaborate guilloché finish, they reveal the core message of the Teutonia II Small Second: simple elegance and down-to-earth luxury.
Even our more delicate watches are not just for decoration. They are also instruments for measuring time. The dimensions of a Mühle watch are therefore subject to certain limits in favor of good readability. The Teutonia II Medium has a diameter of 34 mm – a good compromise between maximum readability and the smallest possible dimensions for a more delicate wrist.
In 2002, we introduced our first Teutonia. In addition to the silver guilloché dial that is still characteristic today, it had a large date. This model developed into an entire watch family with a richly branching family tree. In 2005, the Teutonia II Medium was added, and the Teutonia II Small Second was introduced in 2009. In the meantime, both models are not only timeless classics in our collection, but also belong to the most successful watch family of our family business.
