The first model in our elegant family of watches was simply named “Teutonia” in 2002. Since then, these timepieces have become an unmistakable flagship for Mühle-Glashütte. As the highlight of our anniversary year, the Teutonia IV Big Date Edition 1994, with 155 pieces per dial color, now forms the centerpiece of the “Edition 1994.”
The two models of the Teutonia IV Big Date Edition 1994 feature a stainless steel case with a 41-millimeter diameter. The midsection, typical of the Teutonia, not only boasts the characteristic vertical finish, crafted meticulously by hand, but also the volute-shaped lugs. The upper surfaces of the lugs, as well as the bezel, are finely polished, giving the case a varied surface design and showcasing the impressive attention to detail with which the Teutonia is developed and manufactured at Mühle-Glashütte.
The case houses an anthracite-blue dial with a horizontal structure, as well as an ice-blue dial with a fine sunray finish. The big date display is positioned at 6 o’clock on both dial variants, made possible by a newly designed in-house module making its debut in the Mühle movement MU9424-GD.
