The name Power Chronograph refers to the key function of the up/down display, traditionally called “Auf/Ab-Anzeige” in Glashütte. It indicates whether the watch’s mainspring is “up” (fully wound) or “down” (run down). This practical feature seamlessly integrates with the chronograph function, which measures stop times with eighth-of-a-second precision. “Power” here stands for the energy of the watch – and that of its wearer.
